It is no secret that the agriculture industry is our state's top economic driver. Our region of the state happens to be home to some of the largest farms in Georgia which provide jobs and stability to our local citizens. We have and will continue to support legislation fostering the health and growth of agriculture industry.

Defense and Veterans Affairs

Our family is fortunate to have ended up in Houston County after my grandfather, a WWII Veteran, received an opportunity to finish his military career at Robins AFB. As a result, we are passionately dedicated to ensuring the safety and health of our local base. Since being in office, we have had the opportunity to introduce and pass legislation to support our veterans, active service men & women, and their families. The military is part of who we are, and we will continue to fight on its behalf to ensure those who have served our nation receive every bit of support we can offer.

Economic Development/Job Growth

We are committed to ensuring our region of the state is the best place to live, work and raise a family. Houston County is unique because we have the conveniences of a larger city, only minutes away from country living. We have worked hard to ensure we foster policies which not only assist those wishing to bring their businesses here, but also supports our small business owners whose efforts are the foundation of what makes Houston County the thriving community it is today.

We are extremely fortunate that our regional public schools are some of the best in the state, and it is our goal to keep it that way. My wife Whitney and I are products of the Houston County school system, and we are passionate about providing our children with the best possible education. We believe kids should be taught in a safe environment and upon graduation they should be ready for college, technical school, or a job. To ensure the best results, it is our belief that the education dollars we allocate on the state level, should go directly to the school system leaders, as they know best where funding is needed.

Since being elected to office, we have worked tirelessly to offer substantive change and reform where our tax code is concerned. Every dollar the government spends was first earned by a hardworking citizen.

We believe that government revenue should be raised from taxing consumption, not productivity. We have and will continue to support fiscally conservative policies where our priority is to cut spending, not raise taxes.
